And assistance toward accomplishing things through magick.
Spirit communication isn’t the destination.
It’s what communication gives you access to that matters.

Obviously, that doesn’t mean spirits become supernatural vending machines.
It doesn’t mean you’ll always receive the answer you wanted.
And it certainly doesn’t mean every thought that pops into your head came from some disembodied intelligence.
Discernment matters.
But once you learn how to actually approach the spirit world, communicate with it and develop working relationships within it, your relationship with magick changes.
I’ve worked with hundreds of people in this work, helping them learn to approach and work with the world of spirit, and I’ve watched people make incredible changes in their lives through what they learned.
That’s what interests me.
Not collecting paranormal experiences.
Making magick useful.
CONTACT IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
Calling a spirit is one thing.
Knowing when something has actually answered is another.
And even then, you’ve only begun.
How do you communicate?
How do you develop your ability to perceive?
How do you distinguish communication from expectation?
How do you ask a question and recognize an answer?
How do you deepen a relationship when your contact feels surface-level?
How do you know whether a spirit actually wants to work with you?
And once you establish communication:
How do you ask a spirit to actually DO something?
That’s where spirit contact becomes practical magick.
Because eventually you should be able to approach the spirit world with an actual reason for being there.
I need insight into this.
I need guidance concerning this decision.
I want to understand something.
I want assistance toward this goal.
I want to bring this desire into my magick.
That’s the kind of spirit work I want to teach you.
“BUT I CAN’T SEE OR HEAR SPIRITS.”
Maybe you’re looking for the wrong thing.
One of the biggest mistakes people make with spirit contact is expecting Hollywood special effects.
They perform the ritual.
Call the spirit.
Stare into the darkness.
And wait for some fucking demon to physically walk into the room.
Nothing does.
So they conclude:
“I can’t perceive spirits.”
But perception can be far more subtle than that.
An image may appear in your mind.
The atmosphere may change.
Your body may react.
A thought may arrive unexpectedly.
You may experience an emotion or impression.
You may hear something internally.
You may simply become aware that something is there.
Different people perceive differently.
Part of this work is learning how you perceive instead of constantly comparing your experiences to somebody else’s.
“HOW DO I KNOW I’M NOT JUST IMAGINING IT?”
Good.
You should ask that question.
I’m not going to teach you that every strange thought, coincidence, dream or sensation is a spirit trying to communicate with you.
That isn’t discernment.
That’s gullibility.
Your imagination, expectations, fears and assumptions can absolutely influence what you perceive.
So instead of telling you to blindly “trust every message,” I want to teach you to become a better observer.
Pay attention.
Record.
Compare.
Question.
Test.
Notice patterns.
Develop familiarity.
Discernment is part of spirit communication.
The goal isn’t to believe harder.
The goal is to become better at recognizing what is actually happening during your practice.
CONTACT IS NOT THE SAME AS RELATIONSHIP.
This is another place I see people get stuck.
Every interaction they have with a spirit looks something like:
Here’s what I want.
Here’s my petition.
Thanks.
Goodbye.
And then they wonder why the relationship never seems to deepen.
Some of the most profound developments in my own practice came when spirit work stopped being purely transactional.
Relationship requires attention.
Trust.
Experience.
Time.
Listening as much as asking.
Learning the nature of the intelligence you’re approaching.
And actually doing something with what you’re given.
Inside Beyond the Veil, we’re going to explore what it means to move beyond simply contacting spirits and begin developing working relationships with them.
THIS IS NOT LIMITED TO DEMONIC SPIRITS.
My own path has led me into extensive work with demonic spirits, but the underlying principles I’m teaching in Beyond the Veil are not limited to demons.

And how to clearly communicate an intention or task when approaching a spirit for practical magick.

I’m going to teach you how I approach asking spirits to perform tasks in my own practice.
Because there is a massive difference between rattling off a desperate list of demands and clearly communicating what you actually want.
We’ll work with identifying the desired result.
Formulating the request.
Communicating clearly.
Understanding the nature of the spirit you’re approaching.
Knowing what you’re actually asking for.
Establishing the task.
And then knowing when to get the hell out of the way and allow the work to unfold.
I want you to understand not only:
“How do I contact a spirit?”
But:
“Now that I’ve made contact, how do I actually practice magick with it?”
That’s the difference between paranormal curiosity and practical spirit work.
WHAT ABOUT FEAR?
Someone asked me:
“How do I not get scared when they show themselves?”
Someone else asked whether working with spirits comes with consequences.
Another wanted to know whether spirits could physically harm them.
These questions don’t surprise me.
We’ve inherited centuries of religious fear, folklore, horror movies and occult superstition surrounding the spirit world.
I’m not interested in replacing fear with stupidity.
I’m interested in discernment.
You can respect what you’re doing without being terrified of it.
You can establish boundaries.
You can question your experiences.
You can approach spirit work deliberately rather than fearfully.
And you don’t need to interpret every unpleasant thing that happens afterward as supernatural retaliation.
Take the work seriously.
But don’t confuse seriousness with superstition.

Beyond the Veil is not:
“Here are ten interesting things I’ve learned about communicating with spirits. Good luck trying them later.”
We are doing the work together.
I’m going to explain what we’re doing.
I’ll teach you the principles behind it.

And then I’m going to bring you through the process step by step.
You will attempt to establish spirit contact during the workshop.
Then we’ll begin working with that contact.
